“SELCHE ASSOCIATION-2019” has been inaugurate by our college principal Dr. N.Rajavel. The chief guest is Dr.S.PARVATHY, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, GOVERNMENT ARTS COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), SALEM-7, delivered a Seminar on “Chemistry in Everyday Life”.
The students are participated enthusiastically and acquired knowledge about the bio -chemical reaction. The students got more awareness on the usage of chemicals in our Life. She motivates the students for Research and various job opportunities.
In the second session, she delivered a special lecture on Spectroscopy. Students got wide knowledge on IR,UV spectrum . In the third session Quiz competition was conducted by Dr.M.Muthukumar, Head, Department of Chemistry and Dr. S. Parvathy acted as judge for the quiz competition. The students are actively participated in the quiz competition because of innovative questions and attractive prizes. On the whole it was an amazing program and nearly 200 and more students are benefited.
