Department of Business Administration organized one day “Workshop on Modern Banking” on 21.10.2019 in Conference hall. The chief guest was Mrs.R.Krishnaleela Senior Branch Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Town Branch, Namakkal.
In this workshop Mrs.R.Krishnaleela, Senior Branch Manager explained clearly about the traditional banking process and modern banking process. She rightly pointed out the present scenario of banking system clearly, especially Internet banking, Mobile banking, Tele banking, ATM, Debit card, Credit card, Online banking, Fund transfer- NEFT, RTGS, etc.,
She explained various loan facilities offered by banks in fruitful manner. Actively delivered about Savings bank account, Current account, various deposits schemes, etc., finally students asked many questions regarding the banking operations and she explained clearly the student’s doubts. By this workshop our 106 students were highly benefited and motivated.
