Department of Business Administration conducted, “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” (EAC) sponsored by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India from 27.11.2019 to 29.11.2019 (3 days).
The chief guest was Mrs.R.Krishnaleela, Senior Branch Manager, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Town Branch, Namakkal gave chief guest address on “Banking Supports to Entrepreneurs” in technical session-I. In technical session –II, the chief guest was Dr. N.Rajavel, Principal of our Selvamm Arts & Science College gave special address on “How to become a successful entrepreneur?” In technical session –III, the chief guest was Dr.K.S.Arulsamy, Administrative Director & Controller of Examinations, Selvamm Arts & science College, Namakkal gave special address on “Communication Skills for Entrepreneurs”.
In technical session –IV, Chief Guest was Dr.P.Sathiya Moorthi, Proprietor, Moon Foods; Tiruchengode gave special address on “Guidelines for new Entrepreneurs”. In technical session –V, Chief Guest was Dr.K.Gunasekaran, Vice Principal & HOD, PG Research Department of Commerce, Selvamm Arts & science College; Namakkal gave special address on “Accounting in Entrepreneurship”. In technical session –VI, Chief Guest was Dr.H.D.Subashini, IQAC Coordinator & HOD of Botany, Selvamm Arts & science College, Namakkal gave special address on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)”. Finally all the participants went to industrial visit and got hands on experience at MOON Foods, Tiruchengode. In this EAC camp 75 students of science and technology actively participated and benefitted. By this EAC camp our students were highly benefited and motivated to become successful entrepreneur.
