Webinar on “Recent Advances in Molecular Biology and Immunology”.

Department of Microbiology organized a one day National Webinar on “Recent Advances in Molecular Biology and Immunology” on 1^st October 2021. Dr. N. Rajavel, Principal welcomed the gathering. Dr. Arumugam Rajavelu, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology, NSS and RRC Programme Officer, Bhupat and Jyothi Metha School of Bio Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai was the resource person. He spoke on “Epigenetic Players: A new layer of gene regulation and Eukaryotic Cellular Plasticity”. He carried out the session interestingly and clearly explained about the Epigenetic. The second session of the  programme was chaired by Dr. K. Anbarasu, Associate Professor of Marine Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. He explained the concept with interactive session on “Recent Advances in Immunology”. Around 250 students benefited from various institutions. Finally department Head Dr. A. Ezhilarasu delivered vote of thanks.
