On 13th May, 2022 Selvamm Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Namakkal celebrated its 22nd Annual Day. On this special day, Shri T. Jayamurugan, Senior Quality Control Inspector, Metallurgical Services, Salem Steel Plant & State Resource Person for Astronomy, Tamilnadu was the chief guest. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the hands of Mrs.Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee. Simultaneously, the Chief Guest, Chairman, Secretary and Principal lit the lamp.
Dr.N.Rajavel, Principal welcomed the gathering and read out the annual report of the academic year 2021-22. The chief guest was introduced by Dr. K. S. Arulsamy, Administrative Director cum CoE. The felicitation address was given by Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman, Selvam Educational Intuitions and Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary. The chief guest enlightened the students with his talk on the topic “The Role of Students in the Growth of the Society”. The chief guest distributed certificates and awards to the academic winners. Cash Prize, Appreciation Certificates and gifts were presented to both teaching and non teaching faculty members for their enormous support for the development of the College. Many cultural programmes were performed by the students, started after the completion of certificate distribution. The function was winded up with the vote of thanks given by Mrs. K.K Kavitha, Vice-Principal.
