As instructed by Tamilnadu State Council for Science & Technology, Chennai, we had an objective to organize the programme is to transfer science and technology techniques and findings to the rural people. In our institution the programme had been organized in five days (04.02.2019 to 08.02.2019) includes Azolla cultivation, Mushroom Cultivation, vermicomposting, Domestic usage and solar based products. The wide publicity had been given through newspaper.
The inaugural function was held at college Seminar Hall on 04.02.2019. The Principal Dr.N.Rajavel, vice- principals, Dean and Chief guest were inaugurated the programme by lightening the “kuthu Villakku”. Dr.N.Rajavel Principal, Selvamm Arts and Science College, Namakkal gave Welcome address. Dr. K.S.Arulsamy Administrative Director, Mrs. K.K Kavitha, Dr. P.Thamaraiselvan and Dr. K. Gunasekeran Vice Principals gave felicitation address.
