Selvamm Nakshatra 2K25
On the special occasion of the Silver Jubilee Year, our Selvamm Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Namakkal, has organised Selvamm Nakshatra 2K25, a two-day programme from 21–22 March 2025. On the first day, the college was honoured to host R. Jayachandran, a renowned TV artist, comedian, socialist and writer, as the guest of honour. R. Jayachandran’s speech centred on perseverance, the importance of lifelong learning, and the value of contributing to society. Also, he emphasised that success is not solely defined by academic achievements but also by character, resilience, and a passion for one’s pursuits. Dr N. Maheshkumar, headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, Valayapatti, Namakkal, was the chief guest for the second-day programme. The entire event was presided over by Dr P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, in the august presence of Mrs Jeyam Selvaraj, Trustee; Dr S. Babu, Vice-Chairman; Dr B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary; Dr N. Rajavel; and Dr K.S. Arulsamy, CoE. Vice-Principals, Dean, IQAC Coordinator, IQAC Members, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff members, and students were present in the programme.
