Department of Biotechnology organized a webinar on “Recent Innovative Trends in Cultivation and Utilization of Medicinal Plants in Tamil Nadu” on 23rd March. The Resource person of the webinar was Dr. K. Selvaraj, Assistant Professor in Botany, G. Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous) Kovilpatti. He has delivered special address to the students regarding the Innovative Approaches for Recovery of Phytoconstituents from Medicinal Plants and Biotechnological Production. Also highlighted the various scientific feats achieved in terms of patents and research publications. From this webinar more than 61 students were benefitted.
