Mega Alumni Meet 2K25
The Mega Alumni Meet 2K25 was conducted on 23rd March 2025. This event has created a wonderful opportunity for all the alumni members from the batch 2003 to 2024 to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about fond memories, and relive the good old days. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and nostalgia as attendees shared stories and experiences from their time at college. Dr R. Kurinjivendan, Dean, Faculty of Developing Tamil, Professor and Head, Department of Tamil Studies, Tamil University, Tanjavur, was the special guest and addressed the gathering. His speech resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of maintaining connections and fostering academic growth within the community. The meet was presided over by Dr P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, in the august presence of Mrs Jeyam Selvaraj, Trustee, Dr. S. Babu, Vice-Chairman, Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Dr. N. Rajavel, and Dr. K.S. Arulsamy, CoE. Vice – Principals, the Dean, the IQAC Coordinator, IQAC Members, and Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff members were present in the programme. The alumni meeting at Selvamm was a remarkable gathering that witnessed the participation of over 2000 former students, highlighting the enduring connection fostered by the institution. This gathering not only reinforced the bonds between past and present but also invigorated a sense of belonging within the Selvam family as they continue to contribute to society in diverse fields.
