Department of Physics had conducted a National Conference on “Recent Advances in Material Science and Applications (NCRAMSA-2019)” on 27th February, 2019.
The Conference was inaugurated by the President, Dr.P. Selvaraj, Selvam Educational Institutions, Felicitated by the Secretary, Dr.B.Kaviethira Nandhini, Administrative Director, Dr.K.S.Arulsamy, Principal Dr.N. Rajavel, and Vice-Principal’s Mrs.K.K. Kavitha, Dr.P. Thamaraiselvan and Dr.K. Gunasekaran and Research Dean Dr.A.Ezhilarasu.
The Opening Ceremony had a special welcome from the Convener cum Organizing Secretary, Mr.S.Padmanathan, Dean & Head, Department of Physics. Special Address was given by two Chief Guests, Prof.P.T.Raghuram, Senior Scientific Officer, Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, Karnataka had delivered on “Studies on Material Characteristics for Energy Storage, through Chemical Reaction Method” and Dr.L.Palaniappan, Professor, Department of Physics, Annamalai University Chidambaram addressed on “Material Science – History & Developments”
More than 100 Research Scholars and Professors were participated and presented their Research papers through Oral and PPT presentation as well. They were come from various colleges. Finally Mr.P.Pachamuthu, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, had delivered his Vote of Thanks.
