Microbiology department organized a one day national workshop entitled on “Traditional Herbal Medicine for Health Issues” on 22/12/2017. Nearly 160 participants were benefited from various colleges and universities. Eminent personalities Dr. P. Rajalakshmi Siddha Doctor, CARISM, SASTRA University, Thanjavur and Dr. M. Johnson gritto, Director of Empatheiya Research foundation, Trichy were acted as resource persons and gave hands on training of Herbal medicine preparation to the participants.
