The 24 th Annual Sports Day at Selvamm Arts and Science College (Autonomous) was organized on 20 th September, 2024 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, team spirit, and a healthy competitive spirit among the students. The event took place in the spacious playground of the college. The Sports Day began with an inaugural ceremony that included a march past by students, the hoisting of the college flag, the assembly, and the special address by the chief guest, Mr. C. R. Rajesh Kannan, District Liaison Officer, Green Mission, Road Safety and Anti Drug Club, Collectorate, Namakkal. Following that, the sports and games were conducted, and the winners and participants were awarded with prizes, medals, and certificates. The day witnessed active participation from students, making it a memorable and successful occasion.
