Selvamm Arts and Science college celebrated 20th annual ceremony on 19.02.2020 & 20.02.2020.In this annual celebration MANAGING DIRECTOR Dr.P.SELVARAJ, MEMBER TRUSTEE Mrs.JAYAM SELVARAJ, Vice-Chairman Dr.S.BABU, SECRETARY Dr.KAVIETHRA NANDHINI BABU, followed by ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR CUM CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION Dr.K.S.ARULSAMY, PRINCIPAL Dr.N.RAJAVEL conveyed his welcome to the gathering and also he persuaded the annual report for the academic year (2019-2020).
On the first day session our managing director DR.P.SELVARAJ took part in function and stated the importance of education. His valuable speech was given to the students to develop their individual talents through research studies and also students should give importance on the self-employment to improve their social status in the economical level. Administrative Director cum Controller of examination Dr.K.S.ARULSAMY delivered his speech by initiating the students to spend more time for their education so that, they can fly with colorful wings after completing their Degree, he motivated the students to get ride of future. Our college best alumni student was selected by our principal and he gave memento to THE NAMAKKAL DISTRICT SUB-INSPECTOR OF POLICE Mrs.THANGAM. In this function, 100% result in the university exam as well as 100% in the attendance was awarded cash prize to the faculty members, certificate for students those who reached 100% in attendance and also university examination. 306 final year students received their offer letter awarded by our chairman, and also he praised training and placement cell for its effective ON-CAMPUS drive. A cultural activity was taken over, in this students participated various competitions and was awarded certificate to the students. On the second day session chief guest from Madurai district, CEO of WIN YOUR WEAKNESS MOTIVATION ACADEMY, Dr.I.JEGEN participated in the annul day function and spoke on the topic STUDENTS READ HISTORY? MAKE HISTORY? He gave a wonderful speech and advised to the students to be obedient to the faculty members. Nowadays the students from arts and science are becoming successful in their life. Students should have the habit of reading the newspaper regularly so that they can improve their knowledge and their talent. Each student is having their individual talent so that they have to identify their own talent and they have expose to the world to get success. Student’s life is based on their self-esteem. All the religion students are studying in the temple i.e., college. Farmer and agriculture should be saved by the students not only that students should save the natural resources. Students should analysis their parent’s feelings. In the end of the second day session Vice Principal Dr.K.GUNASEKARAN delivered the vote of thanks.
